M&D DC Summer Lacrosse Camps
at WES
The focus of this camp is to boost each player’s skills and lacrosse IQ in a fun, safe environment. Each day includes both skill sessions/stations and games. Players will learn lacrosse fundamentals, position-specific skills and team concepts, which they will practice and go on to develop in future games and scrimmages. Offensive players will work on proper shooting techniques and mechanics and learn a variety of highly effective dodges. Defensive players will work on one-on-one defensive skills, including body positioning and proper checking technique (dependent on grade level). Individual training provided for goalies. There will be several skill contests throughout the week. Groups will be based on age and skill level.
*It is HIGHLY recommend that each player has previously taken a basic skills class*

*Drop-Off: 9:00-9:30am
*Pick-Up: 2:00-2:30pm (Monday-Thursday) & 12:00-12:30pm (Friday)
For: Girls, rising 1st through rising 8th graders
Cost: $375 – Includes a reversible jersey ($35 value)
What to Bring: Girls stick, goggles, mouth guard, snacks, lunch with a drink (Monday-Thursday), lots of water & sunscreen.
*Goalies will have specific goalie training and will need full gear*
