*Prerequisites: All players must currently play on a travel team or have at least two years of travel team experience and full equipment (helmet, mouth guard, chest protector, gloves, stick and athletic cup) and a willingness to learn!*The Goalie Training clinic will teach proper technique for saving the different types of lacrosse shots including high to high, high to low, low to low, low to high, bounce, and inside. The coach will then instruct each goalie on proper positioning and angle play during every situation including common dodges by offensive players from behind and above goal line extended. We will then cover ground ball technique around the crease, clearing schemes, and outlet passes. Throughout these lessons, the coaches will emphasize mental preparation, leadership, and communication which are so crucial to being an effective goalkeeper.
*If inclement weather forces us to cancel a clinic session, we will send an email at least 60 minutes prior to the clinic start time
*As long as 7 of the 9 sessions are held, we will not issue a credit (makeups will be offered when possible)
*If less than 7 of the sessions are held, we will offer a prorated credit to all clinic participants
