Goalie Development

As a senior (2021): Made eight appearances as backup goalie…made seven saves…made season-high three stops vs. Johns Hopkins (3/6)…played 6:05 in relief making two saves in Big Ten Tournament win over Michigan (5/6)…made first NCAA Tournament appearances in wins over Vermont (5/16) and Duke (5/29).

As a junior (2020): Appeared in one game…entered in relief against High Point, playing the final 1:41 (2/1)…Academic All-Big Ten.

As a sophomore (2019): Appeared in five games as a reserve goalkeeper…made career debut in relief against Bucknell (2/2)…played in the final minute vs. Navy (2/23)…saw 10 minutes of action vs. Villanova, making three saves (3/16)…played in the final minute vs. #19 North Carolina (3/23)…saw relief action vs. Michigan (4/6).   

As a freshman (2018): Did not see game action.

Before Maryland: The No. 23 overall recruit and second ranked goalie in the class of 2017 according to Inside Lacrosse … helped lead New Canaan to three consecutive state championships … selected to the Under Armour All-America game … a two-time All-American and three-time all-state selection … also an all-state selection on the hockey team, helping lead the team to the state semifinals as a senior … played club lacrosse for Eclipse Lacrosse Club.

Personal: Full name is Andrew Reid Morris … son of Keith and Cindy Morris … has an older brother, Jake … sports hero is Wayne Gretzky … also recruited by Loyola.
