Emerson is from Hagerstown, Maryland, and currently works full-time as a marketing coordinator in Washington D.C. She started playing club lacrosse in middle school and played for St. James School in High School. She recently graduated from Denison University as a communications major, where she played all four years of Division III lacrosse. The Denison Women’s Lacrosse team’s recent playoff run, competing in the Final Four, has given Emerson the experience to know what it takes to succeed at a high level. In addition, has given her insight into the current trends in developing the game of women’s lacrosse.
