
Joey Kemp
2034 Blue Co-Head Coach
Joey Kemp is the co-Head Coach of the 2034 Next Level Blue team. Coach Kemp was a four-year varsity player at Georgetown Prep, earning All-IAC, All-County, All-State, All-Met, and All-American honors. At the University of Notre Dame, he was a four-year starter, two-time captain, GWLL Player of the Year, three-time All-American, and the first goalie in program history to earn first team All-American honors. He capped his collegiate career with being named the recipient of the Kelly Award for Outstanding Goaltending in NCAA Division I. Coach Kemp went on to play five seasons in Major League Lacrosse (MLL) with the LA Riptide, Chicago Machine, and Chesapeake Bayhawks. Following the MLL, he coached at Georgetown Prep where he led the goalies and assisted the defense, helping those teams to top 10 rankings nationally. He has since continued coaching at the youth and club levels.
