Taylor Summers

2026 Blue Assistant Coach

Taylor moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland when she was 5 years old and has been holding a lacrosse stick ever since.  She started playing in 3rd grade at The Country School, then in high school at SSPP in Easton, MD, and always actively engaged with her competitive club program on the side.  She went on to play at the Division III collegiate level for DePauw University. A year after graduating, she missed the sport so much that she joined the Washington Lacrosse Club here in DC and was able to play competitively once again.

In her club years at Eastern Shore Lacrosse Club in Lewes, DE, she was asked to switch from her natural position of attack to defense, and she welcomed the challenge of learning a whole new position with open arms.  She believes this experience has made her a more versatile coach, with an appreciation for all aspects of the sport. In college, she was a part of the first-ever recruited class for the DePauw Women’s Lacrosse team in Greencastle, IN. Taylor embraced the challenges of playing for a newly formed program, and she was a leading force in the rise-up in ranks in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC). By her senior year, the team earned their first-ever winning season.  These lessons and experiences have helped her become a better leader and coach.

Professionally, Taylor works as an Event Manager for Walker & Dunlop, a financial real estate company located in Bethesda, MD.
