Whitney Moran
Whitney is currently pursuing her Masters in Publishing from GW University, where she just completed her 5th year of NCAA eligibility. Prior to GW, she attended Long Island University where she got her Bachelors in Political Science and played 4 years on the women’s lacrosse team. She was a 4 year contributor at LIU in the midfield and as a draw specialist. She was a captain her junior and senior years, as well as named Second Team All Conference and was a 3 time NEC Weekly Prime Performer.
She was named IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll for both the 2022 and 2023 seasons, in addition to being named A-10 All Conference Academic Team. For the Revolutionaries, Whitney was a captain who played low attack where she put up 41 points and accumulated 31 draw controls.
Whitney grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she attended high school on the United States Air Force base. She played 4 years of varsity lacrosse, and was an active member in both the yearbook and newspaper.
Coaching at a variety of levels, Whitney loves watching players develop skills on the field and grow into amazing people off the field. Whitney’s favorite coaching memory is when she helped lead her high school alma mater to a second round playoff overtime win.
