Coaches

Maddie Parker

Maddie serves as the Director of our Girls Program and coaches three of our Girls Travel Teams.

Maddie is a 2019 graduate of Dickinson College where she played on the women’s varsity lacrosse team all four years. She was a starting midfielder and captain. Maddie was a four-year varsity starter on the girls’ lacrosse and soccer teams at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland. She was a three-year captain for lacrosse and received numerous honors such as first-team all-county, first-team All-Gazette, and honorable mention All-Met. She was also a two-time state champion in soccer. Over the last four years, she has coached at the middle school and high school levels. During this time she discovered coaching is a true passion of hers and loves working with girls to improve their game and skills. After graduating from Dickinson, Maddie worked in tech sales for two years. Maddie is also the girl’s varsity coach at Walt Whitman High School.

Amina Pookrum

Amina played high school lacrosse locally, spending 3 years as a varsity starter at Maret and leading the team to its first-ever ISL A division title in 2005. She walked on to the varsity basketball and lacrosse teams at Div. III Williams College and played 2 years before suffering a career ending knee injury. In her last 2 years, she served as a student assistant coach for the varsity lacrosse team, which played to a 2nd place finish in the NESCAC in her final year. Since graduation, Amina has coached all ages and skill levels in camps, clinics, teams, leagues, and tournaments throughout the Washington, DC area for the past four years, and prior to that in New York City. She still plays lacrosse in a local post-collegiate league. Amina brings great coaching experience and a knowledge and love of lacrosse.

Isabella Richardson

Isabella Richardson was a lifer at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in North Bethesda, Md. In high school, Isabella was a 4-year starting varsity lacrosse goalie who earned many accolades including ISL player of the week, was a captain her senior year, and earned numerous other awards. Isabella played club lacrosse for Rebels Lacrosse Club out of Good Counsel high school. Despite having broken her foot playing high school lacrosse her passion and love for the game motivated her to rehab and continue playing at the highest level.

Her college career took her to Washington College to play for one of the countries most storied Division 3 NCAA programs. Some of her college highlights include: 2018 Team Most Improved Player, 2x Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week (3/5/18, 4/16/18), Shorewoman of the Week (3/6/18) & 2x Goose Nation TV Shorewoman Player of the Game.  In 2019 she started in all 18 games and played every minute in goal. In 2018 Started in all 18 games in goal. Played 1 game in 2017 and 2016.

Isabella returned to the area after Washington College to attend the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law. Isabella graduated from the Columbus School of Law in 2022 and is currently working as a law clerk for the Honorable James A Bonifant Administrative Judge for the Circuit Court for Montgomery County Maryland.
