Coaches
Conor Jordan
Coach Jordan is the NL 2028 Red Head Coach. He graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in May 2016 with a degree in History and a minor in education. Conor started for four years as an attackman while attending St. Mary’s. In his final season at St. Mary’s, he was named to the Second-team All-Conference Team and named a Scholar All-American for his efforts on the field and in the classroom. Conor finished his Master of Arts in Teaching program at St. Mary’s in June 2017. During his master’s program, he helped the team as a volunteer, working with the offensive players. CJ has been a teacher in the public school system for many years.
Grant Maynard
Coach Grant grew up in McLean, Virginia, graduating from Georgetown Preparatory school in 2019. Coach Grant was a three sport athlete in football, wrestling and Lacrosse and was named the captain of the football and wrestling teams his senior year. During his senior year, Grant was awarded the athletic directors award. Coach Grant went on to play college lacrosse at Denison University. While at Denison, he was a three year starter at both Close Defense and LSM and named a captain his senior year. He made the NCAC All-academic team all four years and was All-NCAC his junior and senior years. Grant was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society in 2021.
Coach Grant graduated from Denison in 2023 with a bachelors degree in Global Commerce and Economics. Currently, Grant works
David Smith
Coach Smith played high school lacrosse at The Governor’s Academy in MA, and college lacrosse at The University of New Hampshire, where he was the captain as a senior and an All-New England Selection. He has been a varsity assistant and a JV head coach at Salisbury School in CT, Northfield Mount Hermon in MA, and Landon School in MD. He also ran Landon School’s lacrosse camp for five summers. He has been teaching and coaching at Landon School since 2001, where he currently teaches English to freshman and sophomores, advises the freshman class, and is an assistant coach in varsity lacrosse and wrestling. He has three children, ’25, ’26, and ’29 and a Labrador.
Nolan Sheehan
Coach Nolan Sheehan is the Next Level 2027 Red Co-Head Coach. Coach Nolan has played lacrosse for 18 years, and throughout his years he played at the Heights School, where he graduated in 2019, following his graduation he committed to Assumption University where continued his career. At the Heights, Nolan’s accolades consisted of 1st Team All MILL (Maryland Independent Lacrosse League) his sophomore and junior year, and senior year, with the switch over to the WCAC, he was named 2nd Team All WCAC. Coach Nolan’s success continued at Assumption University, where he was a 4 year starter, scoring 85 points as well as being a two year Captain. His senior year he was named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II All Academic Team.
