Coaches

Boh Mitchell
Coach Boh Mitchell is the General Manager and Co-Owner of Next Level Lacrosse. Boh was a two-sport athlete at The Heights School where he played varsity lacrosse all four years and was captain his senior year. He was also awarded the Headmaster Award as a senior, the lacrosse Cavalier Award his senior year, and the golf Cavalier Award his junior year.
Boh attended Loyola University Maryland where he played four years of club lacrosse, was a 3-year starter, and team president his senior year. During his junior and senior years, Coach Boh was the defensive coordinator for the JV team at the Friends School in Baltimore. Boh graduated cum laude and was the recipient of the Ayn Rand award for the highest g.p.a. in the Philosophy department.
After college, Boh pursued a career in medicine. While completing the medical school prerequisites in a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Maryland, College Park, he worked in a research lab at Johns Hopkins University where he studied brain development and various mental disorders, specifically schizophrenia and PTSD.
During this time Boh also served as a part-time academic tutor and assistant coach for the Varsity Lacrosse Team at The Heights School. This experience led him to realize his true passion: coaching the next generation of athletes and helping them become young men of great character. Boh turned to the club lacrosse world to pursue coaching full time and is now entering his sixth year at Next Level. In June of 2021, Boh became the Head Varsity Coach for The Heights.

Mark Jutkowitz
Mark is the current 2022 Blue team Co-Head Coach. Mark played for Randy Laco throughout his entire youth career including the team that won the U13 Maryland State Championship. In high school, Mark was a 2-year starter at Whitman and then a 2-year starter at Wootton where he received 1st team All-County, 1st Team All-Gazette, 1st Team All-Met, and US Lacrosse All-American honors as a Senior. Mark then received an athletic scholarship to play at the University of Maryland. Mark is currently a defender on the Israeli National Team, which earned 7th out of 38 nations in their first appearance at the World Games in Denver in July 2015.

Carter Tate
Coach Carter grew up playing lacrosse in the DMV area, attending St. Alban’s School. Carter made the varsity lacrosse team as a freshman and was named captain in his senior year. Through his 4 years at St. Albans, he was selected to the All-IAC Team 3 times and the All-Met Team once. After graduating in 2018, he continued playing at the next level at Amherst College. In his time there, the team consistently earned bids to the NCAA tournament and made their first appearance in the NCAA National Championship game. While a member of the Amherst Men’s Lacrosse team, Carter coordinated the team’s annual run for charity, setting a new fundraising record his senior year. In 2022, Carter graduated from Amherst with a degree in Neuroscience while on the Pre-Med track. Since then, Carter has worked at the Center for Advanced Orthopedics while studying to take the MCAT exam in the summer. This past Spring, Carter returned to his alma mater to coach the St. Alban’s Varsity Lacrosse Team for the 2023 season. Carter will attend Georgetown University this Fall as part of a Special Master’s Program in Physiology and Biophysics.
