Boh Mitchell

Coach Boh Mitchell is the General Manager and Co-Owner of Next Level Lacrosse.  Boh was a two-sport athlete at The Heights School where he played varsity lacrosse all four years and was captain his senior year.  He was also awarded the Headmaster Award as a senior, the lacrosse Cavalier Award his senior year, and the golf Cavalier Award his junior year.

Boh attended Loyola University Maryland where he played four years of club lacrosse, was a 3-year starter, and team president his senior year.  During his junior and senior years, Coach Boh was the defensive coordinator for the JV team at the Friends School in Baltimore.  Boh graduated cum laude and was the recipient of the Ayn Rand award for the highest g.p.a. in the Philosophy department.

After college, Boh pursued a career in medicine.  While completing the medical school prerequisites in a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Maryland, College Park, he worked in a research lab at Johns Hopkins University where he studied brain development and various mental disorders, specifically schizophrenia and PTSD.

During this time Boh also served as a part-time academic tutor and assistant coach for the Varsity Lacrosse Team at The Heights School.  This experience led him to realize his true passion: coaching the next generation of athletes and helping them become young men of great character.  Boh turned to the club lacrosse world to pursue coaching full time and is now entering his sixth year at Next Level. In June of 2021, Boh became the Head Varsity Coach for The Heights.

Max Snider

Max Snider is a longtime member of the Next Level Lacrosse coaching staff, bringing a deep well of experience and an unwavering commitment to player development to the program. Snider has spent years helping young athletes sharpen their skills, elevate their games.

Snider’s most recent high school post was at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, VA, where he served as varsity head coach in the highly competitive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. In two seasons, he led the Cardinals to their highest WCAC finish in over a decade and helped recruit and develop four players who went on to play Division I lacrosse — more than the program had produced in the previous 15 seasons combined.

Prior to Bishop Ireton, Snider built an extensive coaching résumé across the DMV and beyond — serving as interim head coach at Our Lady of Good Counsel, varsity assistant and head JV coach at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School (where the Lions posted a 28–8 record and back-to-back MAC championships in 2018–19), offensive coordinator at Urbana High School, and offensive coordinator at Millsaps College (NCAA DIII). He also served as head JV coach and operations director at his alma mater, Christ School in Arden, NC.

As a player, Snider was a two-time All-Conference midfielder at Christ School. He played at Catholic University for two seasons before going on to be a two-year starter and captain for the club lacrosse team at the University of Mississippi.

Harry Alford

Coach Harry Alford is an assistant for Next Level 2036 Blue. A standout goalie at St. Albans, known for running up the field, Harry was a two-time Washington Post All-Met and All-American before leading Team USA to the 2003 U-19 World Championship. At the University of Maryland, he earned two-time All-American honors, was twice named to the ACC All-Tournament Team, won ACC Tournament MVP, and reached two Final Fours. He went on to play professionally for the Chicago Machine and Denver Outlaws.

Off the field, Harry has co-founded entrepreneurial ventures in lacrosse and helped launch the first DC Public School lacrosse team. He coached Bethesda Lacrosse rec for several seasons before joining Next Level, where he coached sixes and the 2036 Blue team this past season.
