Dave Colangelo

Coach Colangelo is a native of Syracuse, NY, where he played football, basketball, and lacrosse at Fayetteville-Manlius High School.  He played lacrosse and football at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA.  Coach Colangelo began his coaching career as an assistant at The Covenant School in Charlottesville, VA while earning a Masters degree in accounting at UVA, before relocating to Northern Virginia.  His 15+ year head coaching career includes stops at John R. Lewis HS, Loudoun County HS, Herndon HS, and Loudoun Valley HS.  His teams have won multiple Virginia High School league district and regional titles, and he was twice named the Dulles District and VHSL North Region Coach of the Year, as well as a LoCo Sports and US Lacrosse Coach of the Year nod.  He also has experience coaching travel club at the youth and high school levels, having previously coached for FuZe, 3D Mid-Atlantic, Valley Venom, Cavalier, Virginia Lacrosse Club (VLC), and True Loudoun.  He has coached over 75 players who have gone on to continue their careers collegiately at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels, including four All-Americans, four District/Region Players of the Year, and numerous All-State, All-Region, and All-District selections.

Pat Sheehan

Coach Pat Sheehan is currently the Co-Head Coach of the 2033 Red Team and an Assistant Coach for the 2037 Red Team. Coach Pat also recently completed his second season as the head coach of both the “Varsity” and “JV” teams at The Woods Academy.

Growing up with three older brothers who all played lacrosse, Pat was drawn to the sport at a young age. He began playing travel lacrosse at just five years old and competed for one of the most competitive lacrosse clubs in the area. After graduating from Holy Redeemer Elementary School, Pat continued playing lacrosse at Gonzaga College High School, where he graduated in 2019. He then went on to attend Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.

Coach Pat is passionate about sharing his love for lacrosse with younger players, guiding them both as athletes and as individuals. Throughout middle school and high school, he served as a mentor in the “Leadership Training Program,” where he learned how to effectively communicate with and inspire youth to work toward their goals. In addition, Coach Pat helped organize and run numerous lacrosse and basketball camps throughout his summers.

Now entering his fifth year with Next Level, Coach Pat is committed to providing positive, constructive, and individualized attention to each of his players.

Jack Yetman

Coach Yetman first picked up a stick when he was 5 years old. He grew up playing for BLC, then joined Next Level in 2018 as a midfielder. From there he played for and graduated from Walt Whitman High School as a 4-year varsity player in 2023. Jack spent his first year coaching as an assistant coach for 2031 Red under Matt Hickman and helped run Next Level clinics. For the 2023-2024 season, Jack was brought on to the St. John’s College High School lacrosse program as a JV offensive coordinator where he helped lead the team to one of their first undefeated seasons. His passion for athletics extends beyond the field as he is a personal trainer/strength and conditioning coach at the St. James Performance Club. Jack’s goal as a coach is to inspire his players to want to push their limits and to build confidence within themselves.
