Coaches
Paul Weiss
Paul is the Head Coach of the 2025 Red team. Coach Weiss has significant experience coaching lacrosse with Next Level and Bethesda Lacrosse Club. In addition to coaching lacrosse, Paul has experience coaching basketball and soccer. He played lacrosse at Montclair High School in New Jersey, and at the University of Vermont. Paul is a public affairs professional who resides in the District where he and his wife have raised two sons who both played for Next Level.
Vinny Miller
Coach Miller serves as the Next Level Red 2025 defensive coordinator, he is originally from the Long Island NY area. He was a 4 year member of the varsity program and a starter on the 2001 class B state champions at Wantagh High School. Post High school he attended Wingate university for two seasons before heading back home to join the Adelphi University men’s lacrosse program. Upon graduation Coach Miller went immediately into coaching high school lacrosse in 2009 at three different schools on long island. He moved to Virginia in the fall of 2015 where he served as the Head Boys lacrosse Coach at Fairfax High school. He was awarded Patriot District coach of the year in 2019. After five seasons at Fairfax he then moved to Centreville High School where in his first season he was awarded Concorde District Coach of the year. He is still currently at Centreville HS where he also teaches physical education. Coach Miller has a great passion for growing the game of lacrosse and helping young athletes achieve their goals and dreams. He firmly believes that through sport we can teach life’s lessons and become stronger through our successes and failures. Lacrosse is a sport that has given him everything so it’s his goal to try and repay all of those gifts through coaching. This is Coach Miller’s first season with Next Level and he is looking forward to the challenge to upkeep the fine tradition of success and learning that the people of Next Level have created.
