Dan Shaivitz

Dan Shaivitz was a four year starter in goal for Pikesville High School in Baltimore County where he earned All-County and All-Division honors each year and was selected to the Senior All-Star Game in 1997. From there, Dan played at the NCAA Division I level at Rutgers University starting his senior year when the team ranked in the top 20. Dan has played and continues to play post collegiate club lacrosse, now at the grand-masters level.

Dan began his coaching career in high school working with a local youth club team in his home town.  After college, he volunteered as a goalie coach at Goucher College in Towson, MD under then head coach Kyle Hannan.  The goalies he coached there earned All-Conference and Division III All-America honors.  Most recently, Dan has coached youth lacrosse at the rec and club levels for Bethesda Lacrosse from 2017 to present, including hosting a series of goalie clinics for the program.
