2026 Blue Assistant Coach

Coach Canter enters his 13th season coaching high school and club lacrosse in the highly competitive Maryland region. Most recently, he spent the last three years coaching in the well respected MIAA at St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis, while also serving as a year-round coach at the club level.  He also makes time to coach his son’s young guns kindergarten team with the Annapolis Youth Lacrosse Association.

A native of the DMV, Coach Canter began his coaching career at his alma mater, Walt Whitman High School, where he served as defensive coordinator for six seasons—two at the JV level and four years with the varsity program. Over the past decade, he has been a key contributor to powerhouse programs like Next Level Lacrosse, helping guide teams to numerous tournament titles across the East Coast.

Known for his defensive expertise, guidance, and dedication to player development, Coach Canter brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the game to every team he coaches.

He currently lives in Davidsonville, MD with his incredible wife and their three children.
